FAQ

Common Questions about Groundworks

How deep do you excavate for a new driveway?

For a typical residential resin bound driveway, we excavate to a depth of approximately 150–200mm to accommodate the sub-base and resin layer. We'll advise the exact specification at the site survey.

Do I need to sort out drainage separately?

No — we handle all drainage as part of the groundwork phase. If you need a new drainage channel, soakaway, or connection to an existing drain, we'll design and install it as part of the project.

How long do groundworks take?

For a typical domestic driveway, groundworks usually take 1–2 days, followed by the resin installation on day 2 or 3. Larger projects with complex drainage may require additional time.
